Compost Club YYC
Compost Club YYC provides a friendly and inclusive space where people can learn about composting together, get their hands dirty, and share locally relevant resources and information. We meet regularly at Highfield Regenerative Farm and sometimes in backyards, community gardens, and other spots around Calgary.

Bucket Swap
As part of the Compost Commons event series (March – June 2026), we’re offering bokashi food scrap collection kits to anyone in Calgary who wants to collect scraps at home. Come get your bucket, fill it up, and bring it back (or keep it for use in your home composting system or in your garden beds).
We’ve prepared a basic bokashi composting guide for participants. Please contact us for details about the program, including options for pickup/delivery, or to discuss a custom program for your community garden, place of work, condo, etc.
